Fine artist Petar Mazev is one of the most prominent representatives of the Macedonian contemporary painting. His opus encompasses a wide range of artistic expression ranging from figuration, through informel to characteristic artistic handwriting that unites these two artistic expressions. Given his great importance and the strong and recognizable mark, which has been inspiration to many new generations of fine artists, and taking into consideration that he has not been present in the Macedonian art scene for a long time, unless some partial presentations of some of his works in the period from his death to date, the project, as a jubilee celebration of the 90th anniversary of his birth, will in fact include a cross section of his work as a reminder of his extraordinary significance for the Macedonian contemporary fine art.<\/p>\n
