We were at a festival in Santa Barbara. The three of the plays I watched, i.e. I didn’t watch… I slept them through. I have a special position of “watching” plays that I don’t really like, but I somehow managed to reach the seat and those few hours have to pass. Otherwise, America…YES. That’s it. Hamburger, bacon, Coca-Cola, Marlboro, donuts, chips, coloured liquids, chili sauce at the gas station, omelette, zippo lighters, cheap clothes, old timers like Skodas in our country…
But… Americans and theatre – NO.
