One of greatest names in the world theatre stage, Robert Wilson, whose work has been a true theatrical, visual and artistic revolution of all five continents for half a century, was named Doctor Honoris Causa at the EFTA University of Audiovisual Arts – Skopje, after the pleiad of world-famous names that have become an integral part of this institution in its ten-year existence.
The ceremony took place at the Macedonian National Theatre, with salutations from theatre artists from Macedonia, with sermons from UAA EFTA Rector, Jordan Plenesh, and Robert Wilson himself. The event itself featured a film by Sasha Goldman made for Robert Wilson, “Rememberemember”, in the presence of the author.
