The exquisitely rich concert activity of the Women’s Chamber Choir SAINT ZLATA MEGLENSKA in the country with over 600 concerts and performances and over 360 performances abroad, contributed to enriching the modern Macedonian music culture, and many of the authors to create works specifically for the choir “St. Zlata Meglenska” that will express its specific interpretive power.
Letka Dimovska-Polizova, without a doubt, is the most successful choir conductor and the only female conductor in Macedonia, whose performances delight and provoke strong emotions and enlightenment. This is due to her relentless work, great knowledge and power for refined music program building.
She is a true ambassador of national choral music and cultural tradition, attested affirmative of choral singing. Her talent for specific emotional audio and visual translation of her own thoughts through choral literature is confirmed through continuous performances with the Women’s Chamber Choir “St. Zlata Meglenska” at many international festivals, choir events and humanitarian concerts. Dimovska-Polizova herself is the initiator and organizer of such events in the country, such as BOZHIKJ-SLAVA and the Easter celebrations, which radiate the spiritual richness of the Orthodox church literature.
