The National Gallery owns the oldest collection of artworks and represents a temple of supreme and rare values, but unfortunately the depots at this institution are of big concern. Do we live in a time and place where, due to inadequate preservation of cultural heritage in museums, there is a realistic basis to say that our national wealth is endangered and wasted?
