The legendary figure of contemporary dance and the head of the Chaillot National Theatre of Dance in Paris, Didier Deschamps and the proclamation of Doctor Honoris Causa at the University of Audiovisual Arts, European Film, Theatre and Dance Academy-Skopje-Paris-Essen-Rotterdam. The proclamation ceremony was commemorated with a speech by the Rector Jordan Plenesh.
Didier Deschamps explains in his sermon the phenomenon of dance from antiquity to the present day, and the same will be published in the special edition of the University entitled “Contemporary Dance Universal Dance in the Face of the World.”
As it is well known, this recognition, after being awarded to a pleiad of prominent French names such as Claude Lellouche, Charles Aznavour and Jean-Claude Carrier, is awarded to Didier Deschamps for his exceptional artistic adventure on all the world’s meridians.
