Racin – noun and abbreviation for all Macedonians. These are the words by which Blazhe Koneski reflected the size and significance of the founder of Macedonian poetry and literature. By his “White Dawns” poem collection he reflected the soul of the Macedonian man and marked the previous century of the Macedonian reality. His word testifies about his grandness, which resonates even today, not only in our country but also in the world, and will remain so forever. With the aim to be remembered, the project called “Film Train – 100 years of Racin” was delivered. In a symbolic way, by traveling in the film train, in which through old pictures, letters, through songs and a sitting up, memories of Racin were evoked, and upon the arrival in Veles his native house was visited in order to wrap up the memories. In the end, the celebration concluded with an inspiring homage in honour of the poet to mark this great jubilee. The creators of this project would say, Racin is a holy figure in the whole spiritual horizon, because he was dedicated to an odyssey, to the entire Macedonian memory from antiquity through the Middle Ages to the present day and his fate reflects all those codes of world civilization. The reportage is another testimony to what Racin signifies for the Macedonian spirit and identity.
