Kokino is registered as a 4th ancient observatory according to NASA criteria. But the precise registration should read the OLDEST observatory in the world. If we compare it with the other three on the same list, here is the table:
1. Stonehenge … according to probable measurements, the stone rings are erected around 1000 BC according to the latest assumptions of English archaeology. “Window” precision through which the solar disk passes through is extremely tolerant
2. Abu Simbel, 1200 BC, is measured only one date a year for ritual purposes
3. Angkor Wat, 1150 AD, is intended for royal palace, a building that is 32 years younger than St. Panteleimon in Nerezi.
