Every year, the Women’s Chamber Choir SAINT ZLATA MEGLENSKA from Skopje, is the main holder of the programme of the Christmas Choir Festival BOZHIKJ-SLAVA. This choir, after the spiritual singing, became recognizable in Europe and the world by its musical expression, by the selection of a repertoire of impressive works that contain the spiritual essence and mystique of the church setting, in keeping with the content of the musical work, usually supported by various classical music informal paraphernalia: candles, semantrons and objects with church symbolism.
With its enviable knowledge of the field, with spiritual commitment, creative power and prayerful enthusiasm, it upgrades such works with admirable interpretive performance and dynamic nuances, thus providing spiritual sacrality and sound ambience to such choral works.
